Little Man, I'm Ready

Ok little man, I'm ready now.
I got my pedicure yesterday (at a beauty school in town for half the price as any where else and the same quality as I've received in three other pedicures in my lifetime).
I've gotten all my pressing MOPS business done. Our team is almost completely together and getting ready to gear up for some fun training over the summer.
I put the car seat in the van yesterday. Shane gets frustrated trying to put it in and I didn't want to have to climb on top of it after having a baby so it just needed to happen. I forget how honkin' big those baby seats are! I also put the baby hospital bag in the van too, one less thing to have to remember.
I feel like I've done about 75 loads of laundry this week. I don't want it all piling up if I do spontaneously go into labor so I'm trying to stay on top of it all. It also seems like blankets, towels, couch covers... everything has somehow gotten spilled on, pooped on or spit up on and needed to be taken care of as well. Ahh the life of a mom.
My ever growing to do list is actually getting done and I'm finding I have less and less to add to it.
I even ordered Warner's charm for my most favorite piece of jewelry. I got my original necklace through the Vintage Pearl and was able to just order his a la carte and have it within about a week. I love it! Now he just has to get here so I can put it on.

We can't wait to have you here mister so please at your convenience make your appearance.

Keeping up with the Sadlers

Lincoln favorite new past time, listen closely for "Dada"  Dylan had cowboy day at school and could dress up and meet "real cowboys". We live in a hick town and his school was having an assembly about the cowboy way , or having character. Yes, Lincoln's bib is purplish, but it says I Love my Sister so it's ok :)  Cute big boy outfit Auntie Jackie got Lincoln, while sticking out his tongue. I think it looks like a little pickle. Weird, another tongue shot, he does it a lot. While playing with a plush orange (like the fruit) it sort of landed like this and I thought it looked a little like a bikini top and snapped a pic. Hey you have to have fun with life right?

What the Happenings

Lincoln tried out Play-Doh for the first time a while ago. He really liked breaking it up into tiny pieces and trying to put it back in the container. And he didn't try to put it in his mouth too many times. As you can tell by the picture he got tired out from all the creativity pretty quickly so we'll try it again when he has a little more vigor for the squishy stuff. I think this picture is from our drive over to Richland a few weeks ago. We headed over there to visit Shane's grandma and the a bbq at his brothers house. The kids love pictures of themselves and Danielle took this picture of the both of them.  Waiting to get Shane's winter tires on the jeep, Lincoln had fun checking out the giant tires at Les Schwab. There was one big enough he could crawl into but he wasn't a fan of being shoved in there. He loves to climb and explore and get himself stuck, but only on his own accord. He does not like authority trying to tell him what to do (gee I wonder where ...

Overnight Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls

I've been tweaking this overnight sourdough cinnamon roll recipe over the last few months and I think it's finally, exactly, the way I like it. We love this for slow weekend mornings, to take to family and friends, or for special holiday get togethers. It's also the same recipe I use when making them to sell locally. I've been keeping it under wraps for no reason in particular but it's just too good not to share.  I don't have a reliable kitchen scale so this recipe uses good old fashion cups and goes a lot by the feeling of the dough. It will get messy but don't be discouraged if it doesn't turn out just right the first time. No matter the flop, these cinnamon rolls will never disappoint taste wise.  The PDF printable can be found here or you can keep reading.  Overnight Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls  The night before you want to make rolls: 8 Tablespoons cold butter, shredded (a whole stick) 2 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose or bread flour  1/2 cup sourdou...
