Growing too fast!

Lincoln is just growing every second I swear. He gets up from a nap and I can almost see him growing :) He has more definite sleep and awake times and I am sort of figuring out his night time routine. Other than the grunting noises he makes for about an hour before waking up in the morning, he is sleeping pretty well. Hopefully I will be too.
Here is Dylan riding his bike without training wheels! It wasn't the first time since I didn't have a camera when I first saw him (although he did it once, then lost his helmet for a few days so he couldn't show me, then we finally found it) but here is his first time with me only. Way to go dude! He needs a little help starting off but otherwise he is cruising up and down the street all by himself!

    Lincoln is getting his "look" and growing out of the newborn stage. He is so cute, and I'm not just saying that 'cuz I'm Grandma! I'm so proud of Dylan. It's so weird to think you have one who is so dependent on you, one who is now riding a bike without training wheels, and one who is driving a car!

I've been tweaking this overnight sourdough cinnamon roll recipe over the last few months and I think it's finally, exactly, the way I like it. We love this for slow weekend mornings, to take to family and friends, or for special holiday get togethers. It's also the same recipe I use when making them to sell locally. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

We love chicken in our house because it is yummy, very versatile and somewhat affordable. It is also Shane's meat of choice for his "tone and sculpt" plan. (ok so I just love how special he is and really I am not making fun of him)  I generally try to find boneless, skinless chicken for less than $2 a pound. These days it is getting increasingly difficult, even looking into Zycon or Costco so when I found some for $2.30/lb I got all the had... two packages. I frozen one because Shane will BBQ that for lunches on the weekend. With the other package, which I think was about 3.5 pounds or 5/6 breasts, I was able to look on the monthly menu plan and figure out what chicken type dinners I had coming up and chop from there. Since the breasts are usually very thick I slice them in half, like a top and bottom part. Then I either chopped up into bite sized pieces or froze whole. Keeping up with the Sadlers

Lincoln favorite new past time, listen closely for "Dada"  Dylan had cowboy day at school and could dress up and meet "real cowboys". We live in a hick town and his school was having an assembly about the cowboy way , or having character. Yes, Lincoln's bib is purplish, but it says I Love my Sister so it's ok :)  Cute big boy outfit Auntie Jackie got Lincoln, while sticking out his tongue. I think it looks like a little pickle. Weird, another tongue shot, he does it a lot. While playing with a plush orange (like the fruit) it sort of landed like this and I thought it looked a little like a bikini top and snapped a pic. Hey you have to have fun with life right?
