Monster Eye Balls (garlic toast with waterbottle lid dipped in blue food coloring)

Frankenstein Soup 
1 lb. Split Peas
2 Carrots
Small Onion
2 Cloves Garlic finely chopped
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1/2 Cup Chopped Fresh Spinach
1/2 Tsp. Seasoning Salt
1 Tsp. Italian Seasoning
8 Cups Water

In a large soup pot on medium heat add oil and heat. Add carrots, onion and garlic and sweat them for about 5-10 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Turn down to low and simmer for at least 40 minutes. (I started this during nap time and just kept on low until we were ready for dinner.

    Warner is so cute in his little pumpkin outfit! :) I love the horrific dinner also! So stealing this when my kids are older! I am so glad that you had kids first, so I can steal all your good ideas. :)

I've been tweaking this overnight sourdough cinnamon roll recipe over the last few months and I think it's finally, exactly, the way I like it. We love this for slow weekend mornings, to take to family and friends, or for special holiday get togethers. It's also the same recipe I use when making them to sell locally. I've been keeping it under wraps for no reason in particular but it's just too good not to share.  I don't have a reliable kitchen scale so this recipe uses good old fashion cups and goes a lot by the feeling of the dough. Keeping up with the Sadlers

Lincoln favorite new past time, listen closely for "Dada"  Dylan had cowboy day at school and could dress up and meet "real cowboys". We live in a hick town and his school was having an assembly about the cowboy way , or having character. Yes, Lincoln's bib is purplish, but it says I Love my Sister so it's ok :)  Cute big boy outfit Auntie Jackie got Lincoln, while sticking out his tongue. I think it looks like a little pickle. Weird, another tongue shot, he does it a lot. While playing with a plush orange (like the fruit) it sort of landed like this and I thought it looked a little like a bikini top and snapped a pic. Hey you have to have fun with life right?

Shopping Weekend

Danielle has Tolo coming up on Saturday the 16th and I am learning what a drag our little town of Ellensburg can be for finding a dress. Most of Saturday we spent looking at every single clothing store (ok there are only like 6 but still it took a while) then today we decided to try Yakima. Since it's over a 1/2 hour drive and the truck is definitely not gas friendly, Shane drove the Kia so we all went together. After 4 stores there we finally found her perfect dress. Cute cute, I'll have pictures for that next week but for now I have to take it in a little bit. They only had size medium and she is so tiny, but it shouldn't be too difficult with my handy sewing machine I got for Christmas. Dylan behaved like a gentleman and we even got to have a nice early dinner at Appleby's. The baby loves Caesar salads :) I also got to run into Old Navy and buy 2 brand new shirts and a perfect undershirt so I am excited. Almost all of my other maternity clothes so far are borrowed w...
