Warner 4 Months

While getting ready all the boys decided that they wanted a picture together.   He loves those fingers.  Starting to get that baby chubbiness.  The sweetest.   Getting ready to say something, or yawn. He liked trying to squeeze the blocks with his feet.

Yee-Hawing Good Time

A Guest Post by Lincoln Sadler loosely translated by Mommy  (He has decided that a nap on the way home from errands is all he needs and has been by my side all day, except at the coffee shop for our school date.) I got to go the the fair with Mommy, Daddy, Bubby, Baby Dub (like the first part of the letter W) and even Papa came. I liked the parade but eating the candy was my favorite part. The rides at the fair were so fun. Even Baby Dub got to go on his first ride. It was hot. I liked the dragon ride. Bubby rode a bucking bronco. I got to see big cows and pet sheep. I did tickle bugs to the sheep. I like the fair. The older boys waiting for the parade to start. Obviously, Warner thought the parade was great. Too much candy! Finally awake. Feeding the baby during the parade  Ok enough with the parade pictures, I get it... but they are cute and no one was moving so it works. First ride of the day, the dragon ride. So Happy! Just after ri...

Dinner Help?

I literally just cooked part of dinner like this, babies hanging all over. Everyone wants a piece of Mommy. Luckily no one was hurt in the making of this picture (or the taco soup).

Salmon in the Summer

Whoopsie doodle, I almost forgot to post the pictures from our great salmon fishing adventure in Brewster, WA out on my in-laws boat. The boys had a blast hanging out and eating all of the snacks, and Dylan even caught a fish (except an adult actually reeled it in for him). Shane had fun learning the ropes and filling the freezer. I even got a little tan. One of us took turns staying with the Warner in the trailer since they don't make baby lifejackets, so I opted to let Shane take the 3:00 am to 10am shift :) Dylan was up that early with him each day though. What a fun way to do something new.  More than one of these bad boys ended up in our freezer. The last time Dylan used a life jacket to swim.  Brothers in a tube. Action shot! Lincoln blowing his first dandelion. He couldn't figure out how to get them off the stem, so he pulled off the puffs and blew them out of his hand.  Dylan thinking hard about his wish.  Warner loves...

Family Zoo Trip

To wrap up our long weekend vacation we went to Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. Lincoln has been to the zoo twice before, but this was the first time he actually got excited to watch the animals. The weather was absolutely perfect, and because we went on a Monday, it wasn't that crowded either. Everyone loved seeing the animals up close and almost every animal was out to see. We spent quite a while watching the elephants and Linc will tell you all about it. We also posed with a bunch of the bronze sculptures but didn't get a bunch of pictures of the kids with the animals or looking at the animals. I can only remember to do so many things at once!  Kids watching the elephant Lincoln and Danielle Boys with a life sized newborn elephant statue Listen close you can hear Linc making an elephant noise right at the beginning of the video. Hugging the birds The goofballs trying to fit in a fox den. Warner just relaxing in the stroller, he liked to put...

Seattle Baby!

For the next leg of our four day weekend extravaganza we went to Seattle for some-site seeing, swimming and serious pie.  Yes, we went to the world famous restaurant in Seattle called Serious Pie. It was voted one of the best pizza places in the nation and we could see it looking out our hotel window so of course we had to check it out. It was up scale, funky and we had a great time.  One side of the Sadler table The other side.  We stayed in the Marriot and made full use of all of the fancy amenities and enjoyed the bustling city life. Of course the gorgeous white sheets ended up with almost every bodily function on them by the end of out one night stay (including a diaper blow out, a picked scab that bled, pee from when Linc was nude, and slober after someone ate a yummy candy), but that's what the laundry room is for right? Kids checking out the view. View of Puget Sound. Boys checking out the view. Space Needle at sunset. Dylan g...

Wild Waves with Kiddos

This summer we took our "big family vacation" in several different places near Seattle. First stop was Wild Waves in Federal Way, WA. I had been to the water/theme park many times as a teenager but this was the first time I had been with my kids. It was funny to me that I spent my time looking for nursing spots in the shade and the most kid friendly places to get a snack rather than looking for cute guys or being goofy with friends. The kids had so much fun splashing around in the wave pool. Dylan went on his first water slide without a life jacket (or swimming jacket as Lincoln calls them) and has improved his swimming ability greatly this summer. Lincoln went on his first kiddie roller coaster with Daddy and had a great time. Warner veged out and had a great time considering it was about 94 degrees the day we decided to go, probably the hottest day all summer for the area!  The boys after their first ride of the day.  Warner kicking his big brothers.  I ...
